BLACKPINK Set to Break Record with 100,000 Fans in LA, First for a Girl Group

BLACKPINK continues to make global music history. According to YG Entertainment, the group is on track to become the first girl group in the world to attract over 100,000 attendees across two sold-out shows (July 12 and 13 (local time)) at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

With this record-setting feat, BLACKPINK cements its dominance in one of the world’s biggest music markets—North America.
The atmosphere at the first LA show was electrifying, especially as fans reunited with BLACKPINK nearly 2 years and 8 months after their last U.S. concert. As the live band kicked off the show, deafening cheers filled the venue. BLACKPINK responded with full-throttle performances of their biggest hits.

The solo stages highlighted each member’s unique appeal: Jisoo captivated the audience with her dreamy, emotional stage; Lisa delivered a powerhouse performance with unrivaled charisma; Jennie impressed with bold attitude and hip-hop edge; Rosé brought the house down with delicate vocals and vibrant energy.
From start to finish, the concert was packed with high-quality YG-style production and unmatched stage presence. Each member owned the massive stadium with refined professionalism and dynamic engagement with fans.

The LA stop marks the beginning of the group’s North American tour, which will also visit Chicago, Toronto and New York. After North America, BLACKPINK will head to global venues in Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the group just released a new digital single, “JUMP”, on July 11, further amplifying excitement for their ongoing world tour.
